Book released by Punjabi University Computer Science & Engineering Department

Today Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Punjabi University, Patiala released a book titled “Role of Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Modern Age Agriculture” in the presence of Dr. A K Tiwari, Dean Academic Affairs, Punjabi University, Patiala.
Dr. Tiwari said that technologies like artificial intelligence and automation has a major role in the field of agriculture. Dr. Raman Maini Head of Department has explained the role of these techniques to detected the early stage diseases and if a farmer came to know about any disease at early stage than timely treatment will be possible and a good production of a particular crop can be achieved.
Dr. Sikander Singh Cheema, Editor of book said that 44 research papers has been included in this book, which are related to artificial technologies and automation in the field of agriculture these papers will be useful for all researchers who want to pursue their research in this field.
Er. Lal Chand, welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and Er. Navneet Kaur thanked all. Dr. Lakhwinder Kaur, Dr. Amardeep Singh, Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Dr. Dhavleesh Rattan, Er. Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Dr. Gurjit Singh Bhathal, Er. Jashanpreet Singh Toor, Mrs. Bhavya, Jaswinder Singh, Sh. Paramjit Singh were also present there.
