Cancer Care Camp will be held at the World University during Jor Mel : Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal

A seminar was organized at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib in collaboration with Cancer Care Charitable Society. On the inauguration of the seminar Dr. Sikandar Singh, Dean Student Welfare welcomed the dignitaries. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prit Pal Singh while presiding over the function expressed his gratitude towards functionaries of the World Cancer Care Campaign Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Dr. Dharminder Singh Dhillon and their accomplice Dr. Shalini for their participation in the seminar. He said that all the staff members and students of the University are standing beside this campaign for the benefit of humanity. He shared that during Shaheedi Sabha, Fatehgarh Sahib for three consecutive days on December 26, 27 and 28, 2019, a large camp for cancer care will be organized in association with the Cancer Care Charitable Society, at main gate of the University in the service of Sangat. He appealed to all the Sangat to avail these services and make others aware for the same during the Shaheedi Sabha.
Dr. Dhaliwal shared that we should devote a portion of our lives to service of humanity while pursuing a simple life. While taking pledge from the staff and students present at the seminar, he said that we would be supportive of simple weddings and other simple social events and should make efforts to get rid the kitchen of the effects of all kinds of chemical sprays. Dr. Dhillon said that various types of cancer tests will be conducted free of cost in the camp during the Shaheedi Sabha and the Sangat will be made aware of the causes and early diagnosis of cancer. He said that during the last few years, efforts are being made to bring awareness of the high level through these services under the Cancer Care Campaign in Punjab and other parts of the adjoining states. During the seminar, Dr. R. K. Sharma, Dean Research, Dr. S. S. Billing, Head, Department of Mathematics, Er. Rahul Dhawan, Asst. Registrar and the Heads of other Departments along with staff members and students were present. At the end of the event, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Pritpal Singh honored the dignitaries with the University publications.
