Capt Amarinder Singh, senior BJP leadership fails to turn up to accompany Preneet Kaur during her nomination filing

Today, the saffron party candidate from Patiala, Preneet Kaur has filled her nomination papers at the office of district election officer Patiala.
She filled her nomination papers along with her son Raninder Singh, daughter Jayainder Kaur and BJP leader Anil Sareen.
This is going for the first time that Capt Amarinder Singh has not accompany her during her nomination filing and also no other senior leaders from her newly adopted party came to accompany her in this crucial process of elections.
As published earlier by royalpatiala.in , Capt Amarinder Singh, husband of BJP Patiala candidate Preneet Kaur has also not come to Patiala to accompany her for filing her nomination papers for the upcoming lok sabha elections.
As per program, Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are going to accompany her on Monday to file her nomination papers for the Lok Sabha polls. But both leaders –Jakhar and Sarma failed to turn up during the filing of nomination papers.
After filing her nomination papers, she started her road show in the old city area. In the road show Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma came and joined her in the road show. Later Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar also joins her road show.
Earlier, after her induction in the saffron party, she had announced that Capt Amarinder Singh will do canvassing for her.
When questioned Preneet Kaur about Capt Amarinder Singh’s absence, she said “he has some health medical problems and some tests are going to be conducted. That’s why he has not come.”
Before filing her nomination papers, she along with her daughter, grandson bowed down at Burj Baba Ala Singh at Qila Mubarak and prayed for her victory.
