Career Opportunities seminar by Indian Air Force at GNDU

A team of senior air force officials from Air force station, Amritsar organized a special student interaction seminar on various career opportunities in Indian Air Force at Guru Nanak Dev University. The team was led by Sq. Leader Suneet Srivastava and Monika from Indian Air Force. A big number of students from various departments of the University participated in the seminar. The officials shown the presentation on Indian Air Force, delivered a motivational lecture and guided the students on various job opportunities available in Indian Air Force.
They also explained the students about the eligibility criteria for various posts, how to apply and when to apply. They distributed the pamphlets containing detailed information on various jobs. They also distributed goodies to the students during the interaction. They advised the students to visit Indian Air Force website www.careerairforce.nic.in regularly for vacancies available. They explained the procedure to apply for NDA, CDSE, NCC Special Entry, Short Service Commission for men & women and University Entry Scheme (UES).
A lot of enthusiasm was found among students for this career guidance seminar. Dr. Hardeep Singh, Prof.-in-Charge Placements and Dr. Amit Chopra, Asstt. Placement Officer thanked the Air Force officials for conducting the seminar and motivating the students of the university.
