Career Orientation Seminar held at Genius Public School,Rupnagar

A special career awareness seminar was organized for the students of class 11 at Genius International Public School, Rupnagar .
The team from North India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT), Mohali provided detailed information about various career options in the fashion industry. The chief guests and speakers at the seminar were Dr. Poonam Agarwal, Academic Head, NIIFT, and Rajendra Sharma, Principal, Coordination and Consultancy (NIIFT).
They provided valuable information to the students about fashion design, textile design, fashion marketing, garment technology and placement opportunities available in the industry. The students found their sessions very inspiring and useful. Addressing the event, School Management Suba Bhupinder Singh and Gunwant Kaur said that such programs are very helpful in helping the students choose the right career path.
He specially thanked the NIIFT team for visiting the school. School Director Gurpreet Mathur said that in today’s time it is very important to understand the diversity of career options. She said that the guidance provided by NIIFT will prove to be very beneficial for the students.
Vice Principal Bhupinder Kaur in her message said that such seminars broaden the thinking of the students and prepare them for the future. She encouraged all the students to identify their areas of interest and move forward. The seminar concluded successfully and the students participated in it with great enthusiasm.
