Celebration of World Environment Day at government Bikram College of Commerce Patiala

Government Bikram College of Commerce Patiala in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Patiala organized a function on World Environment Day 5th June 2023 in Shaheed Bhagat Singh hall in the college campus. The program commenced with the lighting of the Holy Lamp by the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata and other honored guests.
The Chief Guest for the program was Aditya Uppal (IAS) Commissioner Municipal Corporation Patiala and Akshita Gupta (IAS) A.C, UT also graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
Naman Madkan (PCS) Joint Commissioner, MC Patiala also was a part of this program. The Guests planted herbal trees in the college campus.
The students presented speech and also a Nukkad Natak highlighting the issues related about saving the Environment.
About 250 students of Govt Bikram College and Multipurpose Senior Secondary School along with members of the staff were present at this occasion.
