Chairman CPCB post falls vacant; chairman repatriated to parent cadre

Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approve the repatriation of Shiv Das Meena, IAS who was serving as Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board to his parent cadre on the request of the State government.
Shiv Das Meena, IAS has been appointed as the new Chairman of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). He has taken the charge of Chairman, CPCB on May 18, 2020.
As per available information, the newly formed MK Stalin led Tamil Nadu government on Thursday appointed senior IAS officer Shiv Das Meena as the Secretary of Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, replacing Harmander Singh.
