Children’s Day celebrated with much pomp at DPS

The Children’s Day was celebrated with much pomp and fervor with the “Bal Mela” organized in the playscape of Delhi Public School Patiala.
The teachers and staff of the school put in a lot of effort in making the day special and memorable for each and every child of the school. The day began with the special cultural bonanza presented by the teachers comprising of choreographies, group dances, a “qawwali”, solo songs and much more.
The limelight was stolen by the show “Bachon ki Adalat” wherein the senior teachers dramatically presented the clashes in the mindsets of children, parents and teachers.
Eatery stalls were set-up by the non-class teachers with lip-smacking goodies and were a big hit with the children.
The kindergartners were thrilled to visit the cotton candy and balloon counter. The students were more than happy to dance to foot-tapping numbers with their peer-group and teachers.
Principal S.N.Shukla and Academic Coordinator Shveta Goyal conveyed their wishes to the children with inspirational messages.
