CM orders probe into Patiala Blast, announces Ex-Gratia
CHANDIGARH- Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday ordered a probe into the explosion at a scrap dealer’s site that left one dead and another injured in Patiala.
The Chief Minister has also announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 1 lakh for the family of the deceased and Rs. 25,000 as compensation, besides free medical treatment, for the injured, according to an official spokesperson.
The Chief Minister has extended his sympathies to the family of Vikram Singh @ Nonu, who lost his life in the incident, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured Manohar Singh.
