College Magazine releasing ceremony was organised at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata to release the annual college magazine ‘Bikram’ for the session 2021-22.
The Magazine was released by Dr. Balbir Singh, MLA Patiala (Rural). He was accompanied by his P.A, Jasbir Singh Gandhi. The Program was started with plantation drive where a sapling of Neem tree was planted by Dr. Balbir Singh.
All the staff members were present on this occasion. Interacting with the volunteers of NSS Dr. Balbir Singh told them about the role of reading and writing in personality development.
Principal of the College congratulated the Editorial Board of the magazine and also appreciated the hard work and creativity put in by the students. She added that college Magazine is the best platform for the students to explore their writing skills. The programme ended up with the distribution of the copies of ‘Bikram’ to all the staff members.
