Commissioner gives Momentum to Tandarust Punjab Campaign
Bathinda– Divisional Commissioner Sumer Singh Gurjar today visited the office of Deputy Commissioner Bathinda. He appreciated the efforts of district administration Bathinda being done under Tandarust Punjab campaign.
He also contributed in the signature campaign board installed outside DC office thereby pledging his support towards making Punjab a healthier place to live in. He also took stock of the working of various branches of DC office.
Deputy Commissioner Diprava Lakra and ADC (D) Sakshi Sawhney showed Gurjar the novel concept of vertical garden installed on one of the walls of District Administrative Complex near main entrance.
Lakra stated that useless plastic bottles have been used for raising this garden in a bid to promote greenery and control the plastic pollution. This garden can be developed in shadowy area and under the roof. Similar garden has been developed at Zila Parishad complex too.
From first to last line, the vertical garden has durata plants, raio plants, two lines of purple hedge, singhorium and money plants. These plants are easily available at any of the local nurseries.
