As part of its social responsibility to cater for the suffering humanity especially in the trying times of Covid-19 pandemic, the ‘Community Kitchen Panchkula’ has undertaken the task of providing 100 tiffins to the patients in different hospitals in the tricity besides municipal workers thus holding aloft the banner of humanism in this hour of need and living up to the ideals of ‘Vasudheva Kutumbkam’ (The entire world is a family).
It would not be out of place here to mention that the ‘Community Kitchen Panchkula’ has also been providing free lunch to all the Covid and Quarantine patients of the tri-city i.e. Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
Divulging details, the Founder Trustee of the Community Kitchen, Panchkula Ravee Pandher said that the needy patients need to send a message on Whatsapp a day in advance on the following contact numbers of her core team members Col. Jhamb (9797419929), Amrit Gill Mahajan (9915809155), and Tapasya Sharma (9888480025).
Considering the need to spread awareness about social causes so as to bring maximum people under the ambit of the initiative, Shaurya (9914349555) and Anannaya (9888549555) are very aptly handling the social media part besides the dynamic young volunteer Breena Pandher (8360848272) who is also contributing a lot to serve the people distressed by the pandemic. “In these difficult times, we all really need to hold hands together and help the mankind in whatever way we can. The need of the hour is to send out a message we are here to contribute our bit in whatever way we can to help mitigate the lot of Covid affected people.”, said Ravee Pandher.
