Congress meeting held in Punjab Mata Nagar under “Janta Ka Neta, Janta Ke Beech” programme

Under the “Janta Ka Neta, Janta Ke Beech” programme, senior Congress leader and former President of the District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana, Pawan Dewan interacted with residents in Punjab Mata Nagar. During the meeting, he apprised people of the Congress party’s policies and held detailed discussions, particularly on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
Addressing the gathering, Dewan said that the Congress party believes in taking all sections of society along and is committed to inclusive and all-round development. Referring to the prevailing situation in the state, he stated that the law and order condition has worsened significantly. Incidents of crime are being reported regularly from different parts of Punjab, creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among the people.
He emphasized that in these challenging circumstances, people have high expectations from the Congress party, which alone can put Punjab back on the path of progress, peace, and prosperity.
Senior Congress leaders including Inderjit Kapoor, PCC member Sushil Malhotra, Rajnish Chopra, Arvinder Singh, Balveer Singh, Manish Chaddha, Gagandeep Singh, Madhav Kapoor, Parmdeep Singh, Surinder Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Joginder Singh, and Harsimran Singh were also present on the occasion.
