Members of IMA Punjab hold protest outside Punjab pollution control board office

Today on 29th March 2023, various branches of IMA Punjab gathered in solidarity in front of office of Punjab pollution control board (PPCB), Nabha Road, Patiala regarding the renewal authorisation and disposal of Bio Medical waste generated by the health care facilities.
The gathering was lead by Dr Bhagwant Sigh state President IMA Punjab, Hon state secretary Dr. Sanjeev Mittal and Dr Chander Mohini president IMA Patiala 2023 along with the members protested to put their point forward and PPCB officials including the chairman Prof Adarsh Pal Vig, member secretary GS Majithia listened patiently.
The previous issues, notification were presented along with the CPCB guidelines. The PPCB officials had given their concern and assured for the positive outcome after consulting Central pollution board.
The memorandum was given to the Chairman PPCB and Member Secratary . The secretary IMA Punjab Dr Sanjeev Mittal thanked all members present.
The president and secretary of various branches namely Khanna, sirhind , Rajpura , Samana, Jalandhar, Nabha, Ludhiana of IMA were also present.
