As per civil surgeon Patiala Dr Harish malhotra, today total 52 cases were reported in Patiala district. Out of these 52, 27 cases are from Patiala local,20 cases are from Patiala, 1 case is from patran, rajpur and 3 cases are from different villages in Patiala district .
He further informed that 3 micro containment zones were declared in Samana, after 17 cases were reported. The areas are Tej colony in ward number 3, machhi Hata and pir Gauri mohalla.

The micro containment area in Topp Khana mour is converted into containment area and from top khanna mour has been increased from Anardana Chowk to Rosegarden School, Philkhana School, Pilli sadak, Karah Wala Chowk, Chandni Chowk. The area is sealed for the next 14 days.
Among them were three health care workers, two prisoners, a policeman and a TB worker. The patient, including the patient admitted to the hospital for an operation.
He said that two persons from the district including a 56 year old resident of Adarsh Nagar was admitted to Rajindra Hospital due to shortness of breath and a 36 year old resident of Bishan Nagar was admitted to PGI Chandigarh due to pancreatic disease and Corona were positive, died late last night.
