Corona updates; cases surges in Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 183 new cases and 8 deaths were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 160 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 168 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 5965 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 7475 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1301.
Corona updates; cases surging in Patiala. Out of these 183 cases,71 reported from Patiala, 34 from Rajpura,19 from nabha , 6 from Samana and rest 52 from different villages of the district. Today 8 deaths were reported in Patiala and total death reaches at 209.Out of these 183, 159 cases were reported from containment zones and 17 from contact tracing.
Today a micro containment in New Lal bagh Patiala is lifted and 2 new micro containment created in Rajpura.
Dr Malhotra informed that today 4 deaths were reported from Patiala, 2 from Nabha , one each from Rajpura and Samana. A 58 years old resident of Ragho Majra, a 31 years old resident of Arya Samaj, a 56 years old resident of Ananad Nagar-A extension, a 39 years old resident of Karah Wala Chowk, raghomajra in local Patiala, a 82 years old resident of village Aggowal tehsil Nabha, a 86 years old lady resident of Mhes gate, Nabha,a 58 years old resident of Waraich colony, Samana and a 31 years old resident of Lehla, tehsil Rajpura died today. With these 8 deaths, total Covid casulity reaches at 209 in Patiala district.
In Patiala three cases from Ajit Nagar, Sirhind Road, Guru Nanak Nagar,2 cases from Urban Estate Phase Two, Civil Lines, Gher Sodhian, Azad Nagar, Behera Road, Indira Colony, Old Press Road, Upkar Nagar, Moti Bagh, Arya Samaj, Division Numbers four ,one each from Omaxe City, Vidya Nagar, DMW, Guru Nanak Enclave, Pratap Nagar, Model Town Rajpura Colony, One from Ahluwalia Street, Ranjit Vihar, Bajwa Colony, Kartar Colony, Bank Colony, Majithia Enclave etc.In Rajpura 3 cases reported were from Old Rajpura, Amandeep Colony, 2 cases each from New Dashmesh Colony, Focal Point, Baba Deep Singh Colony, Gajju Khera, Dalima Vihar, Star Enclave etc. one each from Temple, Punjab Enclave, Dashmesh Colony, Ashok Vihar etc.Four from Bhavanigarh Road of Samana, one each from Krishna Basti and Green Colony, four from Apo Aap Street of Nabha, three from Jatta Wala Banss, two each from Patiala Gate, Cinema Road, Vir Singh Colony, Hira Enclave, Ramnagar, Malarian street, Dashmesh colony and 52 positive cases have been reported from different villages.
