Countdown begins for Red letter day in Central University of Punjab’s chapter

The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has been established in 2009 along with other new Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). The University is accredited with ‘A’ grade from NAAC. The Central University of Punjab is the youngest university that has secured its position in the top 100 institutions (95th Rank) in the University category & 1st amongst New Central Universities in the MHRD’s NIRF Ranking 2019.
August 24, 2020 is going to be a Red Letter day in the history of Central University of Punjab when Union Education Minister (Dr.) Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank would virtually inaugurate the New built Campus of Central University of Punjab, Bathinda at 3.pm along with Prof. (Dr.)Raghvendra Prasad Tiwari, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Punjab.
During this inaugural function, total 9 building along with one Monument dedicated to ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan and Jai Anusandhan’. The names of Buildings to be inaugurated are as follows: Aryabhatta Academic Block, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Guest House, A Type Residential Houses, E Type Residential Houses, F Type Residential Houses, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boys Hostel, Mata Gujari Girls Hostel, Annapurna Hall, and Rai Bahadur Sir Ganga Ram Water Treatment & Supply Center.
Countdown begins for Red letter day in Central University of Punjab’s chapter. Prof. (Dr.)Raghvendra Prasad Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor, CUPB, mentioned that this day will be historic for Punjab, Punjabi, and Punjabiyat, where people would be benefited with quality education in an ultra-modern Campus of CUPB. He briefed that his aim is to provide ample opportunities of higher education to youngsters which will be accomplished in this Campus.
