Principals’ Conclave on NCC training held at Multani Mal Modi College

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organized Principals’ Conclave in collaboration with NCC Punjab Battalion 4 and under able guidance of college principle Dr. Khushvinder Kumar. In this conclave Principals of 30 colleges of Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala and Fatehgarh Sahib districts participated along with 47 associate NCC officers and care takers. This event was conducted to acquaint all stake holders, responsible for conducting NCC training, focusing them on aims, objectives and the latest training methodology available for the largest youth organization in the country. The main objective of this conclave was to achieve synergy in all future NCC activities to derive maximum benefits for the young cadets who have voluntarily opted to undergo NCC training.

The event was presided over by Group Commander Brigadier Rajeev Sharma, NCC Group, Patiala. In his address he highlighted the importance and relevance of NCC in nation building and the role of Principals and training officers in achieving the aims and objectives of NCC. He emphasised upon the need for proactive and synergized approach for the training of the cadets. He also demonstrated the latest available technological developments and incentives offered by the government for the cadets. The participants appreciated the event and promised to motivate more and more students to join NCC and serve the nation.

Principals’ Conclave on NCC training held at Multani Mal Modi College. Prof. Shailendra Sidhu, Vice Principal, Ex-Captain Ved Parkash Sharma, ANO Lt. Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, CTO Dr. Sumeet Kumar and Ajay Kumar Gupta were present from the college.
