Covid-19 update; September begins with highest death figure in Punjab

As per the health department official’s 1522 positive cases in Punjab, after the release of yesterday’s media bulletin at 8:00 pm. Yesterday 1541 cases was reported .With these 1522 new cases the tally rose to 55508 cases, as per health bulletin released at 8:00 pm today.

Today 59 deaths, are reported in Punjab-1 each from fazilka, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Moga, Pathankot, Tarn Taran, 2 each from Barnala, Faridkot, 3 from Bathinda, 4 from Fatehgarh Sahib, Kapurthala, 5 from Ferozepur, Patiala, 8 from Jalandhar and 13 from Ludhiana and total deaths tally reaches at 1512.
Today 1120 patients were discharged in Punjab, and the cured patients tally reaches at 38147. Now 15849 cases are still active in Punjab.
