DAV Patiala observes the festival of colours

The festival of colours ‘Holi’ was observed with gaiety at DAV Patiala premises in joyous and jubilant mood in the school premises.
The programme commenced with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest Rana Jang Bahadur, the famous actor ,Dr. CK Mishra chief Yoga Coach (SAI NIS Patiala),Gaurav Solanki (CWG 2018 eminent boxer), Etash Khan (emerging sportsperson) ,Principal Vivek Tiwari along with Anu Tiwari amidst the medley of songs later with the ceremonial Tilak Ceremony.
While wishing the staff on this occasion Principal Vivek Tiwari quoted that the message of this vibrant festival is to fill our life with love and compassion and light the fire of spirituality within to exhume anger, ego egotism and vices lying buried in the subconscious mind. It is apt time to renew the relationships.
The day also important as on this day Sports Bulletin 2018-19 projecting the glorious achievements of the sports of the school was also released.
The event was turned more vibrant with beautiful Antakshri, enthusiastically participated by the members of staff on tracks and tunes. An enthralling song presented by Rajneet Kaur and other team of teachers truly depicted the picture of Holi celebration, hence winning everyone’s applause with its unique theme.
The programme concluded with putting of colours on each other and the distribution of sweets , hence spreading affection and pleasantness.
