DBEE Patiala Empowers Students through “I Aspire Leadership Program” Meeting with Role Models

In an effort to nurture and inspire the upcoming generation of leaders, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) Patiala, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, successfully organized a meeting that brought aspiring students face-to-face with distinguished role models as part of the visionary “I Aspire Leadership Program.” The event unfolded at the office of District Defence Welfare Officer, Patiala.

Sharing insights into the event, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney revealed that within the framework of the visionary “I Aspire Leadership Program,” DBEE Patiala orchestrated an exceptional opportunity for four driven students from Govt. Multi-Purpose Sen. Sec. School, each nurturing dreams of becoming Army and Air Force officers. The selected students – Gaganjeet Singh (10+2), Noor Singh (10+1), Aman Kumar (10th), and Amanpreet Singh (10+2) – had the honor to interact with their Role Models throughout the day.

The esteemed Role Models who graced the occasion with their presence included Lt. Co. Maninder Singh Randhawa (Rtd.), District Defence Welfare Officer, Patiala; Wing Cdr Gurpreet Singh (Rtd); and NB/SUB Surendra Singh of 4PB (Girls) NCC BN, Patiala. This event provided students with a unique and remarkable opportunity to spend quality time with these accomplished Defence Officers, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of the procedure, preparation process, and diverse career prospects within the defense services.

During the interactive session, the distinguished Defence Officers adeptly guided and enlightened the students about the multifaceted avenues that await them within the defense services. The discussion spanned various career pathways following the 10th, 10+2, and graduation stages. This event offered an invaluable real-time experience, allowing students to directly glean knowledge from officers actively engaged in the fields they aspire to.

ANO (2nd Officer) NCC Airwing Ravinder Singh of Govt. Co.Ed Multi-Purpose Sen. Sec. School, Patiala, also graced the occasion, adding to the significance of this momentous event. from DBEE Patiala,  Satinder Singh, Deputy CEO, and Prince Chhabra, Assistant were present.
