NSS Unit of Mata Gujri College organizes blood donation camp

N.S.S Unit of Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib organized a special blood donation camp dedicated to the warm memory of late Dr. Amritpal Singh, with the support of Government Rajindra Hospital Patiala in which 102 donors donated blood with great enthusiasm. In this camp, a total of 102 units of blood was collected for the blood bank of Rajindra Hospital Patiala by the students and staff members of the college.
On this occasion, Additional Secretary of the College Governing Body, Jagdeep Singh Cheema highly appreciated the efforts of the N.S.S unit of the college and he encouraged the students and said that blood donation is the best donation and the students of the college actively participated in the blood donation camp.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said that this camp has been organized in warm memory of late Dr. Amritpal Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, who passed away last year and aim of this camp is to inculcate the spirit of service to humanity and moral values among the students.

On this occasion, N.S.S officer Birinder Singh Sarao, Ravinder Kaur, Harbhinder Singh, Dr. Naina Khullar, Harmanjot Kaur and N.C.C In-Charge Pushpinder Singh were present.
