Delhi Public School organized Blood Donation Camp

Delhi Public School Patiala organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp to support the Blood Bank, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala , under the guidance of Principal S.N.Shukla. Manjeet Singh Brar, Superintendent of Police, Patiala, inaugurated the camp and appreciated the efforts of the school.

Dr.D.S.Bhullar, Senior Professor, Govt. Medical College, Patiala, boosted the donors, and students, who motivated their parents for this noble cause. Prof.Bhullar has a whopping 75 blood donations to his credit till date.

Sukhvinder Singh (PO, Blood Bank) and team, took personal care of each of the donor. The refreshments and appreciation medals for the event were arranged by the Lions Club Premier, Patiala, and the President – Lion Rakesh Goel and Lion Vikram Goel were present to oversee the arrangements. The Vice-Principal of Punjab Jail Training School, Rakesh Sharma (President Awardee) distributed the certificates to the donors and encouraged the students as well.

Kaka Ram Verma, Social Worker, who played a key role in motivating the school management and the students towards this noble cause, also thanked the Principal, Staff, Students and parents for enthusiastically participating in this humanitarian initiative.

The school doctor, Dr.Rishma with the team of teachers, thanked all the individuals who contributed to make this event a wonderful success. In all, 51 units were collected by the blood bank at the end of the camp.
