DGP Punjab office summoned staff of 18 police district heads

Office of the Director General of Police Punjab has issued a reminder letter to all the heads of police department, except senior superintendents of police (SSP’s) of Patiala, Barnala, Sangrur, Fatehgarh sahib, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Moga,Bathinda, Rupnagar , to send their CRC’s or dealing heads with full information, record of the sepoys who have completed their 16,24 and 30 years of services and a local rank of head constables (HC’s), assistant sub inspectors (ASI’s), sub inspectors (SI’s), inspectors were sanctioned by the department of home affairs, in person on January 3, 2020 at 10:00 am in the office of the superintendent establishment-1,in DGP’s office at police headquarters, Chandigarh.
“DGP Punjab summoned staff of 18 police district heads; fail to provide timely information, so the DGP office has issued a reminder letter 36-51/ E-1 (5), dated 1-1-2020, Chandigarh, to all the heads of police department, except senior superintendents of police (SSP’s) of Patiala, Barnala, Sangrur, Fatehgarh sahib, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Moga,Bathinda, Rupnagar, as these 9 SSP’s has already submitted the requisite information, demanded by the DGP office in a stipulated time” said a official.
The DGP office is demanding the information about the employees who have completed their 24 years of services as on calendar year January 1, 2020, so that a local rank be given to the employees who have completed their service terms, as the department of home affairs has sanctioned a local rank to these employees.
Punjab have three commissioners- Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar besides senior superintendents of police (SSP’s) at Patiala, Barnala, Sangrur, Fatehgarh sahib, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Moga,Bathinda, Rupnagar,Ludhiana rural, Mansa,Faridkot, Muktsar,Gurdaspur, Pathankot, SBS Nagar, SAS Nagar,Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala,Jalandhar rural,Amritsar rural,Tarn Taran,Batala,Khanna.
