Delhi Public School (DPS) Patiala organized Fourth Inter School Athletic MultiMeet in the campus . Golden Era School, Sushila Devi Public School, Apollo Public School, Pepsu International School and Delhi Public School participated.
Cheema Karate Club also brought in 34 entries. The Guest of Honor for the occasion was the Jagtaar Singh Tiwana (AEO Sports), National player of Kabaddi along with Manjeet Singh, (DEO Sports) who were welcomed by the Principal S.N. Shukla. The ceremony began with formal March Past followed by Oath. The competition was held separately for boys and girls .The participants were high spirited. They did not try only to win over their opponents but also themselves. An array of events was- 100m ;200m; 400m; 800m,Shot Put, Discus Throw, Skating and Long jump. Chess was the added indoor event this time.
The event was also graced by the ace cyclist of Patiala- Mr.Gurjeet Singh and he was also felicitated by the Principal S.N.Shukla.
The Principal S.N Shukla along with the coaches, Academic Coordinator Shveta Goyal, bestowed the medals to the winners in the end of the event which made the participants more gung-ho to meet again the next year and there was no school left without the prize in its lap.
