Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Govt. College Roshanwala celebrate its foundation day

Celebrating 14 August 2024 as a foundation day of Baba Sahib Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Govt. College Roshanwala, Sangrur in the college campus under the aegis of principal, Prof. Rachna Bharadwaj, the function started with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp lit by Principal and other staff members in the presence of students.
On this occasion, poster making competition was held. More than 20 students displayed their creative posters. First prize was awarded to Amritpal Singh while second was bracketed between the two students. And third prize was pocketed by Nandini.
Apart from this, poetry recitation, songs competition and speeches on the topic of patriotism took place. Speaking on this event, Principal Prof. Rachna Bhardwaj lauded the efforts of students for their creativity and co-operation.
She appraised the students of the recent slogan on this particular Independence Day Progressive India (viksit Bharat).
Stage was jointly conducted by Prof. Parminder Singh Rekhi and Prof. Harsimarat Kaur.
More than 100 students actively participated in this function.
Prof. Ashwani Kumar (Vice Principal of the College) proposed vote of thanks and Prof. Inderdeep Singh Jassar (Organizer of the function) was also appreciated for his efforts. Dr. Prof. Kiran and Prof. Parminder Singh Rekhi performed the duty of the judges. Anupreet Singh, Jaswinder Singh and Prabhjot Kaur (staff members) were also present.
