Dr Bipin Saronwala memorial Table Tennis tournament concluded
Patiala- Two day Dr Bipin Saronwala memorial Table Tennis tournament concluded here today at Rajindra Gymkhana Club.
Dr Naveen Saronwala, Chairman Saronwala Trust said that around 200 players participated in this two day tournament. He further said that in this two day sports event various categories- cadet boys and girls;sub junior boys and girls; youth under 21 for boys and girls; male, women singles. In another category Rajindra Gymkhana Club members who are 40+ ;50+;60+ also participated.
Preneet Kaur former Union Minister of States came as a chief guest on the concluding day. She gave away the prizes to the winners. Sanjeev Garg State Information Commissioner Punjab; Sanjeev Sharma Bittu, Mayor Patiala along with Vipin Sharma Secretary Rajindra Gymkhana Club, Harpreet Sandhu, Nikhil Saronwala, Vishal Sharma also graced the occasion.
In this tournament Neha of DMW came first, Kriti from Mohali came second and Priya Rao got third position under Women singles category.
Honey of DMW came first, Neha from NIS Patiala came second and Lovepreet got third position under Girls under 20 category.
Like wise under junior category Mohali’s Sagar Rawat, Jalandhar’s Hardik Chadha and Ludhiana’s Gautam got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Under sub Junior category Lovepreet of DMW came first, Kriti from Mohali came second and Sanjana got third position.
Under Rajindra Gymkhana Club Women’s member category Shubrika Bansal, Manjit Kaur got 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
Under 40+ men’s category for Rajindra Gymkahana Club member category Dr Dhillon, Sahil Garg and Dr Amit got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Under 50+ men’s category Dr HS Gill, Gurpreet Mastand Rakesh Malik got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Under 60+ men’s Sudeep Malhotra, Anurag Joshi and JP Singh got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
