Dr Harshinder gave lecture on the teachings of Guru Nanak

Today a special seminar was arranged at Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra Institute of Advanced Studies at Bahadurgarh, in Patiala . It was dedicated to the 550 the birth anniversary of first sikh guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji. Chief Guest was former VC of Punjabi University Dr Jaspal Singh, guest of honour Gobind Singh Longowal President Shriomani Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee, special guest Padam Shri Sant Sewa Singh .
Seminar was attended by huge gathering comprising of students and scholars of Sikhism from within Punjab and Delhi including UK, Nirpal Singh Shergill . Dr Harshindar Kaur, Pediatrician, eminent social worker and prolific writer on women and Sikh affairs delivered a talk on the scientific aspects of listening as enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, “Suniye sekh pir patshah, suniye andhe paave raah”.
She using modern scientific knowledge and research publications from Oxford and other universities laid bare the supreme knowledge of Guru Nanak Dev ji in simple words that even a layman could grasp. She was honoured on this occasion by dignitaries on dias as pride of sikhs all over the world
