Dr Manmohan Singh discharged from AIIMS

India’s former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, on Sunday evening after he complained of uneasiness, was discharged on Tuesday.
As per AIIMS hospital information “the 87-year-old former prime minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh was shifted to a private ward in the Cardio-Neuro tower on Monday night. He was also tested for COVID-19 and his results had come out negative and was discharged around 12:30 pm , today from the hospital.
He was admitted under Dr Nitish Naik, a professor of cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), on Sunday evening.Immediately after his admission at AIIMS New Delhi, he is put under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward of the premier hospital. Dr Manmohan Singh underwent heart-bypass surgery at AIIMS in 2009.
Dr. Manmohan Singh was the prime minister between 2004 and 2014 and is a senior leader of the opposition Congress and currently represents Rajasthan in the Upper House of Parliament.
Dr Manmohan Singh is an Indian economist, academic, and politician who served as the 13th Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. The first Sikh in office, Singh was also the first prime minister since Jawaharlal Nehru to be re-elected after completing a full five-year term.
