Dr Regina’s hard work pays off: Punjabi University students, staff, faculty, pensioners to get affordable medical treatment

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor K K Yadav, IAS , Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre, Punjabi University Patiala extended MOU with 25 prestigious Hospitals of North India under which services will be given to the employees ( both retired and present) and their families and presently studying students of the university.
Two years back Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) were signed with various hospitals which proved to be highly beneficial for the University family.
The Hospitals include Fortis Ludhiana, Vardhman Hospital, Patiala, Patiala Heart Institute, Randhawa Eye Hospital, Patiala Eye Hospital, Bansal Eye Hospital, AP Trauma ,Phul Neuro Hospital, Excel Health Care,Neelam Hospital Rajpura, Nitin s Mindcare, Sodhi Eye Hospital ,Ess Ell Hospital,Park Hospital, Livasa ( Ivy) Hospital Mohali/ Khanna , Medanta Hospital, Gurugram and various other renowned hospitals of North India.
Dr Regina Maini Senior Medical Officer said previously MOU was signed with 19 renowned hospitals, now total 44 Hospitals are empanelled with Punjabi University Patiala under which services are given at Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Rates.
Dr Regina’s hard work pays off: Punjabi University students, staff, faculty, pensioners to get affordable medical treatment . She added that “our university is the first university to sign MOU with 44 Renowned Hospitals of North India”.
Punjabi University Patiala Registrar Dr Sanjeev Puri appreciated the efforts made by Dr Regina on taking the initiative to provide best health facilities to the university employees, their families and students.
Dr Narinder Kaur Multani ,Dean Academic Affairs of the university said this is a very good effort made by the SMO of the University which will help the University family.
Dr Regina said this empanelment is dedicated towards Manav Seva Sankalp Diwas (Death Anniversary of Bhai Ghaniyaji).

The CGHS package rate is the all-inclusive cost of inpatient treatment, day care, or diagnostic procedures for a Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) beneficiary. This includes the lump sum cost for the entire treatment, from the time of admission to discharge, and includes registration charges
