Election Commission of India lifts Model Code of Conduct; to remain enforced in certain states

Election Commission of India (ECI) has lifted the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), enforced since the announcement of general elections on March 16,2024.
Now, the MCC to remain enforced where by-elections are going to be held in coming days.
