Elocution competition on the topic “Gender Equality” held at Punjabi University

Department of Education and Community Services, Punjabi University, Patiala in collaboration with Women’s Studies Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala organized an Elocution competition on the topic ” Gender Equality” on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Students of the department deliberated on various aspects like women empowerment, feminism, gender equality and gender issues in Indian society. Prof Harprit Kaur, Director, Women’s Studies Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala graced the occasion as chief guest.

She elaborated upon the theme of International Women’s Day, 2023 and gave away the prizes to the winners of the competition. Dr Jagpreet Kaur, Prof Jasraj Kaur and Dr Gagandeep were present on the occasion.
