Engineer donates body to science; to enhance medical students’ research work

The increasing awareness on body donation might have attracted Er Mohinder Singh Ahuja to donate his body to science after his death.
Today, Er Mohinder Singh Ahuja left for his heavenly abode and the family is going to fulfill his last wish “donate body for science” , enabling students and researchers to enhance their knowledge of human anatomy.
Er Mohinder Singh Ahuja was retired as deputy chief engineer from erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) .
The final procession of the departed soul will leave for Govt Medical College, Patiala from his Punjabi Bahg, Patiala residence at 12:00 today.
The family will take his body to Govt Medical College, Patiala as per his last wish.

Recently, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh’s Department of Anatomy had received two donations made by the families of Pahilaj Govind Ram Mohan and Shail Bajaj.
