Erotic services industry racket busted by Patiala police

Patiala police has bused a flesh trade racket running outside the city area and arrested 24 persons including 16 women and 8 men. The racket being operated in the garb of two spa centres near market located on the Patiala-Chandigarh highway, close to Punjabi University.
As per the Harjinder Singh Dhillon, in-charge of Special Cell, Patiala out of the 16 women, who have been arrested, eight namely Darika, Jullie, Saviti,Jeena, Sammy, Gipsy, Suda, Sophiya, Piya are said to be from a southeast Asian country, Thailand.
The spas were being operated by Karamjit Singh and Jatinder Singh. Karamjit Singh runs a spa centre under the name of ARK and Jatinder Singh runs his spa centre under the name of Sunshine. The police raided the centres and arrested 24 persons including 16 women and 8 men from the spot.
“We had carried out the raid yesterday following inputs that immoral trafficking was being done in the garb of a spa centre. Similar raids will be carried out in other parts of the city,” said Dhillon.
Erotic services industry racket busted by Patiala police. Adding further, Amandeep Singh, inspector Urban Estate police station, said a case under Section 3,4,5 and 7 of the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act was registered on February 20,2025 against the accused.
