Bahadurjeet Singh/Sri Anandpur Sahib,November 14,2025

In Guru Nagri Sri Anandpur Sahib, on the occasion of the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Hind Di Chadar, the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Punjab Government has undertaken an important initiative to ensure smooth and convenient arrangements for the lakhs of devotees arriving for the historic events. For the first time, a special “Trolley City” is being established at Charan Ganga Khad so that devotees reaching here from distant villages on tractor-trolleys can be provided full convenience.

This information was shared by Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister for Education and Information & Public Relations. He stated that this special Trolley City has been created particularly for those devotees who traditionally arrive on trolleys carrying supplies for langar during major religious gatherings. Keeping in mind this specific requirement, the administration is finalizing all necessary arrangements on a large scale so that the devotees can be provided every basic facility.

The Cabinet Minister said that, giving top priority to public welfare, an “Aam Aadmi Clinic” will be set up within the Trolley City by the Health Department. This clinic will provide basic health services, first-aid, and 24-hour medical assistance. Additionally, considering the needs of devotees arriving from rural areas, a special eye-checkup camp will also be organized. Here, needy devotees will be provided eyeglasses free of cost. The aim of this initiative is to directly extend health benefits to villagers who usually do not have easy access to such facilities.

The administration is working with great sensitivity on every aspect, from parking and health services to crowd management, so that these historic events may be conducted with the glory and spiritual sentiment befitting the greatness of Guru Sahib’s martyrdom.

This first-ever establishment of a Trolley City by the Punjab Government symbolizes its commitment to public service and its firm resolve to ensure that the 350th martyrdom anniversary events are observed in a smooth, safe, and spiritually dedicated manner.
