General categories Punjab deplores the “callous’ attitude of Punjab government

Joint Action committee General category Punjab deplores the alleged callous attitude of the cabinet sub- committee constituted by the Punjab Government as two out of three members did not come to attend the meeting . Aman Arora, cabinet minister was only present on behalf of the sub-committee.
V K Gupta Spokesperson of Joint Action Committee said that the general category organisations were invited by the Punjab Government to discuss their issues with the sub-committee . When the delegations reached the meeting venue at Chandigarh only one member of the committee was present. This was the first meeting granted by the Punjab government to the general category federations.
Kuljeet Singh Rattol President General category welfare Federation (PSPCL/PSTCL) said that the Joint Action Committee deplores the non -serious attitude of the government towards general categories. The absence of the chairman and one member of the committee shows that when talking about solving their grievances, they are not even willing to listen to their view points.
The delegations of more than 20 persons included Shyam Lal Sharma Chief Organisor Joint Action Committee General Category., Kuljeet Singh Rattol, Gurdeep Singh Tiwana ,Hargurmit Singh,and Balbir Singh Phulgana.
The delegation conveyed their feelings to the Aman Arora sub-committee member. They discussed their issues with him and asked for a proper meeting with the three member committee within a week’s time. The General Category Welfare Board is lying defunct in absence of appointment of its chairman and supporting staff.
General categories Punjab deplores the “callous’ attitude of Punjab government . In case time is not granted the general category employees will protest in the assembly segments of these ministers and will plan peaceful protest rallies across Punjab if the meeting not granted in time.
