General Category Federation honors Navjot Dahiya Chairman PSGCC

The General Category Welfare Federation on Sunday honored Navjot Dahiya on his appointment as the first Chairman of the Punjab State General Category Commission (PSGCC) at Jullundur.
The delegation of the General Category Federation was led by Shyam Lal Sharma Chief Organiser and Jaswant Singh Dhaliwal state President. The other delegation members were Kuljeet Ratol President PSPCL unit, Sarbjit Singh Kaushal General Secretary, Gurdeep Singh Tiwana, Surinder Singh, and Chander Shekhar, Sukhbir Singh from PTU, and all-district representatives.
Giving details about the function Dhaliwal said today that Navjot Dahiya released the new year calendar of the Punjab General Category Welfare Federation and discussed the various problems of the general category. He assured the delegation that he will strive hard to solve their problems on priority without any discrimination.
Shyam Lal Sharma thanked Chief Minister Punjab for setting up the commission
for general categories. Now the general category employees will have a nodal agency to send their grievances to the state government. The federation will submit various suggestions to improve the working in various departments.
General Category Federation honors Navjot Dahiya Chairman PSGCC. Navjot Dahiya thanked the Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and state Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu for giving him the post of chairman Punjab State General Category Commission to serve the people of the state. He said that not only government employees but the entire state will be benefitted from the setting up of the commission. This will go a long way to solve their problems.
V K Gupta said that the Federation has been demanding the setting up a commission for general category welfare for the last two decades and the same was ignored by the previous governments. The present government however conceded to our demand.
