Girl students of Public College Samana came forward to donate blood

Breaking a myth of a common people that girls can’t donate blood, 2 girls students of Public College Samana came forward and donated blood at a Blood donation camp organized by the students of NSS department & Red Ribbon department of Public College Samana, Public Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Public .College of Education on 20thMarch,2019.
Principal of Public College Samana Dr Arvind Mohan inaugurated the blood donation camp at the college library. Students, staff members of these education institutions came forward and actively participated. The students motivated many co fellows to donate blood. As many as 75 units of blood were donated. 2 girl students and 7 staff members also donated their blood under the able supervision of a team of doctors of Govt Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.
Students were asked to take milk, fruit, egg diet before and after donating blood. The team of doctors from Govt Rajindra Hospital congratulated the students for their contribution and deliberation of good thought & efforts for society.
In this camp Prof Jatinder Dev, Prof Harpreet Kaur, Prof Harkirtan Kaur, Prof. Shamsher Singh, Prof Jaswinder Bir Singh, Prof Jaspreet Kaur, Prof Nachattar Singh, Prof Gurdhian Singh, Prof Nikeeta, Prof Palwinder Kaur, Prof Kulbir Singh, Prof Ashwani, Prof Shanty and Supdt Subash Chand were present.
