GNDU among the top Multi-disciplinary Public State University in India

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has achieved another milestone by attaining top position in “The Week–Hansa Research Survey-2021” amongst the Multi-disciplinary Public State Universities of North India. At the national level, it has bagged 7th position amongst the State Funded Universities.
High quality education has attracted the international and other state students to seek admission in the University, which has put Guru Nanak Dev University one amongst the top 9% of the universities of the world as per the Centre for World Universities Ranking. Recently, GNDU is placed at 41st rank in the ethical values in World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) for 2021.
This is apart from it being the only Category-I university of the state and accredited with the A++, highest grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University’s highh-index at 113 highlights the quality research publications using state-of-the-art facilities. High quality research in diverse areas benefiting the society in the urban and rural context in the state in particular and nation in general is highly cited by the national and international fraternity.
Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor expressed his happiness and has devoted the top position of the University to the continuous and untiring efforts of university faculty, non-teaching staff, research fellows and students even during COVID times. He expressed satisfaction for performing well in all the parameters of the survey used for ascertaining the ranks.
