As you are undoubtedly aware, the agricultural community faces profound agitation stemming from the Union government’s failure to uphold its commitments regarding the contentious farm laws. These laws touch upon critical issues such as the legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price (MSP), debt stress, and power subsidies, which directly impact the livelihoods and well-being of our farmers. The farm unions, in response to this failure, have resolved to march to Delhi to assert their demands.

However, the recent actions taken by the Haryana Government, marked by heavy barricading and the use of drones, tear gas shells, and rubber bullets to disperse the farmers, are deeply troubling.

These measures have resulted in unwarranted injuries to the farmers of Punjab, even when they are still in territorial jurisdiction of Punjab. Such egregious violations not only infringe upon their fundamental rights but also contravene the foundational principles enshrined in our Constitution.
