GNDU orders suspension of physical teaching

As per the instructions of the Government of Punjab, Guru Nanak Dev University the physical classes in the teaching departments will be remained suspended till 31st March, 2021. This decision has been taken keeping in view the increase in COVID-19 cases all over.

As per the instructions of the Government of Punjab, the physical classes in the teaching departments on the University Campus, Regional Campuses, Constituent/University colleges/affiliated colleges shall remain suspended till 31st March, 2021.  However, the departments on the university campus/regional campuses and colleges will ensure conduct of online classes during this period. This decision has been taken keeping in view the  increase in COVID-19 cases all over.

Prof Sarabjot Singh Behl, Dean Academic Affairs of the University  said that the ongoing examinations will also be postponed and the revised date sheet will be communicated by the office of the Controller of Examination accordingly.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Manoj Kumar, Professor Incharge Examinations said that the theory examinations of annual and semester system (including examinations for courses being run under Credit Based Evaluation and Grading System) being held from 20-03-2021 to 31-03-2021 are postponed as per the decision of the Government of Punjab in view of Covid-19 situation in state. The new dates of examinations will be informed in due course of time.

More information can be taken from Principals of the concerned colleges/Head of the Departments, Centre Superintendents and from university website. The time and venue of the examinations will be the same.
