GNDU Research Scholar presented a research paper in prestigious conference in Philippines

Rupanshi Pruthi, research scholar from Punjab School of Economics, Guru Nanak Dev University presented the paper entitled ‘Innovation Capabilities and Catching-up trajectory of Asian economies’ in the prestigious 5th SEASIA Biennial International Conference held at University of Philippines, Diliman Manila.
The conference was based on the theme “De/Centering Southeast Asia” and was attended by policy makers and eminent researchers from around the world. She delved into the complexities of innovation within Asian contexts, examining the pivotal factors that contribute to the regional innovation capabilities and their global implications which was highly appreciated by the discussant of the paper and the other participants of her session in the conference. It provided her an opportunity to engage with international scholars, exchange ideas and receive valuable feedback on her research. Rupanshi is prusuing PhD under the supervision of Dr Swati Mehta.
Prof. Mandeep Kaur, Head of the department expressed happiness with the recognition of Rupanshi’s reseach in the international forum. She opined that such opportunity for the young researcher signifies the University’s commitment to academic excellence, high quality research and global engagement.
