GNDU Students Qualified PPSC’s Test in High Proportion

It is a matter of pride for Guru Ramdas School of Planning (GRDSP) of Guru Nanak Dev University that 39 of its graduates have been called for documentation verification after qualifying the written test of Punjab Public Service Commission for 37 posts of Assistant Town Planners in the Local Bodies Department of Govt. of Punjab.
A total of 46 candidates have been called for the documentation verification, constituting 85% from Guru Ramdas School of Planning (GRDSP). Also, 21 graduates of the School have been called for documentation verification for 19 posts of Assistant Town Planners in the Town Planning Department of Govt. of Punjab.
This section also constitutes 84% candidates (21 out of 25) called for the verification. Vice-chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu has extended his congratulations and well wishes to the successful candidates.
He said that planning is an outshining discipline in the existing fast urbanizing world and there would be high demand of Urban, Regional, Infrastructure, and Transport Planners in the times to come.
He congratulated the faculty of the School for training the students with high quality teaching and state-of-the-art infrastructure at the University. The faculty of the School extends heart felt congratulations to all the successful candidates and wish to perform the best in the interview to get final selection.
