GNDU to organize conference on Punjabi Language, Literature and Culture on February 17

Government of Punjab and Guru Nanak Dev University is organizing an international conference on ‘Punjabi Language, Literature and Culture : Modern Challenges and Possibilities’ on February 17, 2020 at 9.30 am in the Guru Nanak Bhawan Auditorium of the Guru Nanak Dev University.
Dr. Darya, Head, School of Punjabi studies said that Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Minister of Higher Education, Govt of Punjab will preside over the function while Dr. S.P. Singh, former Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University will be the chief guest. Dr. Jaswinder Singh, former Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala would deliver the keynote address and Dr. Manmohan, Additional Director, Home Ministry, Govt. of India will be the special guest on this occasion.
Dr. Darya said that “GNDU to organize conference on Punjabi Language, Literature and Culture on February 17” and apart from this, 11 eminent personalities of Punjabi Literature i.e. Dr. Karnail Singh Thind, Dr. Gurbakhsh Singh Frank, Dr. Manmohan, Dr. Ravel Singh, Dr. Joginder Singh Kairon, Prof. Kirpal Kazak, Balbir Madhopuri, Manmohan Bawa, Bachint Kaur, Surinder Nir and Nirmal Arpan will be honoured on this occasion keeping in view their contribution in their respective fields.
