Golden Temple decked up with Imported Flowers

The Golden Temple will be decorated with hundred of quintal flowers imported from various countries to celebrate

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials said “The decoration is done by the sangat . The sangat is spending lacs of rupees to decorate the shrine with flowers”.
“Decorators from various parts of India are involved in the preparations.
Hundreds of devotees are volunteering for the decoration work.
When asked about the cost of the flowers, he said the sangat is importing the flowers on its own and they did not ask about the money spent on the flowers which contain different kinds of flowers at least.
He said the flowers from different countries will be used in decoration.
Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Sikh Guru, installed Guru Granth Sahib for the first time at the Golden Temple in the year 1604.
The day is celebrated with religious sentiments and respect by the devotees, all over the World.
Guru Arjan Dev Ji prepared Guru Granth Sahib (holy book of Sikhs) in A.D. 1563-1606. Its first copy was calligraphed by Bhai Gurdas.
