Good News for Punjabi University employees; staff, dependents to get health facilities at CGHS rates

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. Arvind , an agreement (MOU) was signed between Punjabi University, Patiala and the various prestigious Hospitals /Labs/ Radiology Centres of Patiala today.
The Various Hospitals include Excel Health Care, Patiala; Sodhi Eye Hospital, Patiala; Alpha Radiology Centre, Patiala; Jeevan Hospital, Patiala; Neelam Hospital, Rajpura; Rapid Laboratory, Patiala; Balaji Heart and Eye Centre, Patiala; Nitin Mindcare, Patiala; Kakkar Eye and Orbit Scan Centre, Patiala; Ess Ell Diagnostics, Patiala; Medlink Hospital and IVF Centre, Patiala; Nawal Hospital, Patiala; Patiala Eye Hospital, Patiala; Bhatia Hospital, Patiala and Park Hospital, Patiala are empanelled with Punjabi University, Patiala.
Earlier 15 Hospitals were empanelled with the University
The Employees, Faculty and Staff ( both retired and working )and their dependents will get the Services at CGHS Rates .
The Employees will have to show their ID Card and Health Card for the Dependents.
Dr Navjot Kaur,Registrar said this facility will help the employees, faculty and their dependents to take the facilities at Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) rates.
Dr Regina SMO said these Hospitals/Labs/ Centres are empanelled with the University and this will help the Employees (both retired and working ) ,faculty and their dependents to take the facilities at these prestigious Hospitals/ Labs/ Centres at CGHS Rates.
