Good News for residents of Majha and Doaba region; fulfils promise in view larger public interest- CM Mann

Fulfilling another promise made with the people of state especially that of Majha and Doaba region, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has shifted his residence to Jalandhar keeping in view larger public interest.

The Chief Minister said that the sole motive of this initiative is to ensure that people of the state especially from Majha and Doaba region are facilitated for getting their routine works done. He said that this first of its kind initiative is aimed at further connecting the people in a direct manner as he will be available to people here in few days of week. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that people now won’t have to rush to Chandigarh for getting their routine works done as the Chief Minister of the state will be himself available to them at Jalandhar only.

The Chief Minister said that he had made this promise to the people a few days back and it is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for him that he has once again fulfilled his words. He said that the sole aim of his every endeavour is to ensure progress of the state and prosperity of its people. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that gone are the days when government was run from the offices in Chandigarh.

Good News for residents of Majha and Doaba region: fulfils promise in view larger public interest- CM Mann said that for the welfare of people, the sovereign masters of state, now the government is being run from the villages and towns. He said that the state government has already launched its flagship scheme of Sarkar Tuhaade Dwaar under which village level camps are being organised to offer citizen centric services to people at their doorsteps. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that more such pro-people initiatives will be taken in the coming days for welfare of people.
