Govt. Bikram College of Commerce Excels in ‘Quest for the Best – 2024’ Olympiad

Under the able guidance of the college Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, the students of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce brought laurels to their institution by excelling in the ‘Quest for the Best – 2024’ Olympiad organized by the Institute of Cost Accountants (ICAI). The event, held on November 7, 2024, witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 150 students from the BBA and B. Com streams. The quiz competition was successfully organized in the college campus by Dr. Harsimran Kaur and her dedicated team.
The college emerged as the standout performer, with its students securing multiple top positions. The college secured top positions in multiple categories. The college dominated the 1st-year category, claiming all three top positions with Gunn, Mukul Garg and Mehak securing first, second and third position respectively. In the 2nd-year category Kashish Sood and in the 3rd-year category Kuljot Singh bagged the 1st prize.
The competition not only provided a platform for showcasing knowledge in finance, accounting, and management but also offered exciting rewards, including monetary prizes and ICMAI fee waivers. The winners of the quiz were rewarded with exciting prizes, including Rs 2,100 and a 100 percent ICMAI fee waiver for the 1st prize, Rs 1,100 and a 75 percent ICMAI fee waiver for the 2nd prize, and Rs 500 along with a 50 percent ICMAI fee waiver for the 3rd prize.
Govt. Bikram College of Commerce Excels in ‘Quest for the Best – 2024’ Olympiad. Additionally, selected participants received fee waivers of 40 percent and 20 percent, acknowledging their efforts. All participants were also presented with certificates of participation as a token of appreciation for their involvement and enthusiasm in the event. The college Principal congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement and highlighted the importance of such events in enhancing knowledge and professional development.
