The chess team (M) of Government Bikram College of Commerce,Patiala brings laurels to the institution by winning the Runners Up trophy in Inter college Chess championship organised by Punjabi University Patiala, recently .
The team members Sumit Babbar, Nikhil Chehal,Keshav and Madhav expressed their talent and their chess skills that helped them bag the Runners Up trophy by beating the previous year, Champions.
The College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata congratulated the Chess team members and advised them to always keep working hard and to always do their best in life,shealsoapplauded the efforts of the college sports incharge Dr. Paramjit Kaur.
