Gurukashi University Law Students visit District Court

To advance and extend educational opportunities beyond the bounds of traditional institution settings, Students of University College of Law, Guru Kashi University (GKU) visited District Court, Bathinda. Eleven Law Students from B.A. L.L.B Semester 2nd and 4th accompanied by two faculty members Amandeep Kaur and Aman Bhullar visited the court. The students met President Disttrict  Bar Asso. Bathinda, Adv. Ranjit Singh Jalal, Adv.Vikas Singla, Adv. Hanish Bansal and Jasveer Singh, Ex-President of Bar Asso. and Adv. Sarwinder Singh to understand the functioning of the court. They apprised the students about the judicial process of the court.

Dr. Arpana, Dean, University College of Law said “The visit was beneficial for our students as it gave practical and theoretical knowledge to them.”

The Vice Chancellor, Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal appreciated the educational visit of the Students as they were exposed to judicial procedure of the court through this visit. Dr. Narinder Singh, Director Finance lauded the effort of the department of Law. Dr. Ashwani Sethi, Director Planning and Development also acclaimed the visit and encouraged the students to actively participate in such activities which will be fruitful for them in future.

Dr. Shalli, Director, CRC Cell also congratulated the department of the law as the activity is a part of the CRC Cell of the University that believes in the active participation of the students in the activities beyond the class room settings.
